My Journey into Tattooing

Tattoos, in particular, have always fascinated me for their ability to express individuality and personal stories. My love for art and design is accompanied by my exposure from a young age. My mother and sisters are incredibly skillful artists and my father a fine art photographer. I always used art as a form of self-expression and didn’t consider exploring my passion commercially. Art has always been very personal to me. After school I decided to pursue a career in Criminology (which is another passion of mine), where I completed my postgraduate degree in Criminology and worked in the industry for a couple of years.

When I was 27, I stumbled on an opportunity to tattoo, and it ignited a passion like no other. I immediately looked for an apprenticeship and the stars aligned. I have never looked back. I found that tattooing gave me the space to unapologetically share myself with the world. The connections I form with my clients are invaluable and irreplaceable. Tattooing is probably the most difficult but also the most rewarding thing I have ever done. But I love it. Every appointment brings about a new journey.
